This body of work is based on images I photographed on Lake Michigan. Called Blue Prints, they are about the
interface between man and nature.
The work is also about scale. Enlarging images to several gigabytes, flecks of sunlight reflected on the water took
on spectral colors and images began to reveal their structural components, as seen inWater based and
Anatomy of Water.
In the Poseidon series, fragments of the water images, mirroring each other, are laid out on four quadrants
with a center value of 0. I alter the direction of each fragment to differentiate spatial references.
